Kerry Arens is a connector, creative problem-solver, systems designer, & coach of learners in the classroom and beyond. Kerry spent her first ten years in education as an English teacher in Parkway and Kirkwood School Districts. Her passion for working alongside her colleagues to increase student engagement and ownership in their learning led her to roles as an instructional coach and curriculum facilitator for Kirkwood as well. Kerry currently serves as the Coordinator of the Chelsea Detrick Experiential Learning Center in Webster Groves High School, where she helps teachers design and students pursue learning beyond the traditional walls of the classroom.
I love connecting, creative problem-solving, systems-designing and coaching learners in the classroom and beyond. Talk to me about student-led learning, community-based learning, hands-on learning or really any kind of learning. Tell me your happy stories about leading and learning.
